Placing the pattern is easy, but I like this video anyway. Speaking of which (and this may be off-topic), but has anyone heard of the Fashion Fantasy Game? I heard it was great for people who like to sew.

@DeistRequiem Irish? You’re joking right? She’s English, most likely from Liverpool.

I guess this young lady is from the north of England.Maybe somwhere near Manchester.

nolabels94 November 22, 2011 at 11:59 am

why is she using someone elses P-Hatarn Piece” if she has her own label?

Loolified November 22, 2011 at 12:31 pm

She is not irish she is quite clearly english if you think she is irish you must be american or something and northen ireland is part of britain anyways.

lillianm November 22, 2011 at 12:39 pm

if you’re trying to show someone how to place a pattern it would obviously be someone whose never used one before. and if that is the case, you have to explain things in more DETAIL so they can understand.

lolitah028 November 22, 2011 at 12:56 pm

Ok, so for the pattern pieces that say, “cut on the fold” that means you actually have to fold the fabric in half and then lay the pattern on the fold line, THEN cut? so you end up with two piece that are the same size? I have never sewn before and just got a sewing machine so thats why my questions are so basic.

DeistRequiem November 22, 2011 at 1:39 pm

I don’t think that’s a british accent. She sounds Irish

MRSJANTRO November 22, 2011 at 2:22 pm

Can you please talk about reading the sizing on the pattern, choosing the right sizing lines and seam allowance and how to do this, please?

scarlettohara66 November 22, 2011 at 6:16 pm

You need to explain HOW to find the correct size on a pattern. Also, how to alter a pattern if needed!
