I get my patterns from the local fabric store, but they’re also available online.

For a long time all my clothing was made at home right on my person. Now I would like to learn this. Is it difficult to learn to sew?

venus06660 October 26, 2011 at 2:43 pm

RainingStars00 October 26, 2011 at 3:37 pm

don’t you iron your patterns before you sew them

cyberseams October 26, 2011 at 3:54 pm

The neckline has a facing (as shown). Once that was sewn in, I flipped the shirt right-side-out and top stitched really close to the edge of the neckline to keep it flat.

armida55 October 26, 2011 at 4:34 pm

how did you finish off the neckline? i always struggle with that!

qasl1234 October 26, 2011 at 4:58 pm
