@latinillusion00 Just cut it off. If you back stitch/forward stitch a few times at the end, it wont unravel when you cut it.

so… when you are done with sewing u just cut the string.. do u tie it? how does it work???!

I would not abuse my beloved Bernina 930 that way, but besides that there is the safety issue: the tip of a pin could hit the needle in an unlucky way and go flying – into your eye! I have been lazy about taking pins out when using an old Singer and have had needles flying all over the place. If the tip of the machine’s needle breaks the lucky thing is that usually the thread is still attached and so the tip doesn’t go anywhere – but why take a chance? Suggestion: Take out the pins as you go!

i always sew over pins, never does any harm, the round shaft of the pin, if it catches the needle, just allows the needle to slip off the side. Obviously you never sew along the length of a pin because the needle wouldnt be able to slide down the side.

This person is not very professional.
She is giving bad adivce.
You never sew over pins, especially at the speed she is going. It is very damaging to a machine.
